The Church

At the moment we are investigating the Church and how we belong to it.  We went for a little visit on Friday to find out more about what is in our Church and why.  It is such a lovely quiet place and we all observed the rules very well.  Here are some things we find in our Church.... See if your child can name them and talk about why they are there.

We had some extra kids from Room 17 with us so they helped to explain some of the things we saw.  It was a lovely visit, pity we didn't get to see Father Mark.  The Church is all about understanding that it is the people that make a Church and that we are like a family who belongs together because we believe in God and the love of Jesus.

Slime!

For Golden time on Friday we made slime.  We mixed  cornflour and water together and added a splash of green food colouring.  Then we rolled up our sleeves and had some messy fun.  Georgia helped us and even though we made an awful mess, we loved it.  Here we are....

Slime is really weird because it is a solid and a liquid.  As soon as it came in contact with our hands, it went runny and just ran through our fingers.  The cleaner Justine was not impressed but we had a ball.
