Potato Hedgehogs

Today we had great fun making potato hedgehogs.  We started earlier in the week talking about the two hedgehogs who have been visiting my house, eating my cat food.  We looked at hedgehogs on the internet and wrote I see, I think, I wonder stories about them.  Finally we made potato hedgehogs - what fun.  Here we are.....

We talked about how we could attach the nose and eyes and Emma came up with the solution.  Clever thinking skills Emma.  We also discussed whether the spikes are around their faces and when we looked on the internet we found they are not.  The Hedgehogs face is actually furry not spikey.  Lots of lovely investigating Room 13.  Wicked!

More fabulous Te Reo

Dress up Party

On Friday for Golden Time we had a cool, dress up party.  We had a little bit of party food and some great music to which we danced our hearts out.  Some visitors came to our party, quite a few princesses, a couple of Spider men, a soccer star, a pirate and lots more.  It was such fun.  Here is some footage of the dancing....
