Dancing Divas!

Today we had a PJ party for Golden Time.  We popped popcorn, watched some cool music on Youtube and danced in our pyjamas.  It was good fun.  We all had a great time and some of us, even greater than others.  Here we are the Room 13 movers and groovers....

We also had some super kids today in assembly.  Congratulations to Thomas, Samantha and Elvincent for an excellent week of thinking, learning and  kindness in Room 13.

Jesus Feast

Today we had a Jesus Feast.  We have been talking about the similarities and differences between our lives and the life of Jesus 2014 years ago.  Food was one of the topics we discussed and we found that some of Jesus food was the same as we eat and some was quite different.  Today we tried dates, grapes, unlevened bread, olives and cheese.  We dressed in our Jesus clothes and sat on the floor as Jesus would have done.  Here we are....

Jesus Feast

There is a wee note in the Homework books regarding our Jesus Feast.  The children do not need to bring food but do need Jesus clothes as outlined in the letter.
Please could these be brought to school on Thursday in a named plastic bag.
We are learning about what life was like for Jesus when he was a boy and as part of this we will share food in the way Jesus did all those yeaars ago.  The children will need the clothes again closer to the end of the term for the Last Supper.
